Teacher Coaching and Professional Development (2010-2011 and 2011-current)

Results

According to Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Carl Lockett, Bailey Magnet School had, “bombed in QDI ratings for two years. After one year with teacher coaching with JBHM, our QDI rose from 131 to 163.”

Lockett continued to say that, “We are working with JBHM again this year. Not only are the teachers gaining a lot of knowledge and know how, but the administrative staff is, too. Our teachers love their relationship with JBHM. We have started something good and don’t want to level off. This newfound continuity is healthy and we intend to keep on climbing.”
